Hey guys, I just decided to hook up my old pc we've had in the basement for a while to mess around with. I've been looking at the OSx86 project website for a while and to be honest, i feel brain-dead.

The computer is old. That's just it.

I was wondering if it was able to run any kind of mac os on it, just because i want to mess around with it a bit, cause that's what i like to do.

    The specs:

    60GB hard drive

    Intel Pentium 3 processor
    930MHz, 320MB RAM

    128MB NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500

And I get my internet through my iPod via PDANet (no wireless card)

Nope, but it'll run Linux just fine.

No, why? I find really no use to me. I mean I've played around with it a bit, it just seems like it doesn't have much to offer, and i'm not good with terminal. But i've tried it, i might try it again.

    Okay, now what?

an annoying open source os which is free but if you aren't linux crazy it can be hard to emulate functions other oses can do ie, much harder to sync an ipod using linux. if you plan to use linux i reccomend Ubuntu.

yes u can i found a web site that is doing some new thing so u can run multiple operating systems on computers not sure if u can get a pc one for free but i think u can

    here is the link
    https://www.vmware.com/
u might want to look around the site to find the right one

    or u can youtube

and you can do the same thing with a mac its better than boot camp coz u can just switch between them without additional programs

i think you can evern run vista and xp at the same time depending on how much it will let u install
