Can iTunes Genuis Send Me To Jail...

    If i have some illegal songs downloaded from limewire, like when i set up genius and it sends info to apple will i get in trouble for it?

    There is no info sent to Apple that they can use against you. It's just the names of the songs in your library.

    No, there is no difference from a song you downloaded illegally or one you LEGALLY ripped from a CD that you payed for. So I highly doubt they'd waste they're time coming to your house and making sure you got all the non iTunes songs from a ripped CD and not illegally.

    Then again you do live in Ottawa, they tend to travel out to homes up there.
