Can iPod Touch lose battery/charge..?

    Pretty much my question is, will is lose it's battery life or lose it's charge if you have it constantly plugged in..? My friend claims it does but I'm not sure.

    no ipod touches have some sort of power thing lol (i dont know how to explain it)
    that cuts off power when it reaches full charge
    so like
    you can keep it plugged in for hours and nothing bad will happen

    Thank you, I figured my idiot friend was wrong. He doesn't even own an iPod of any sort and he claims the issue with it cause he "Seen it on Yahoo! News". He just HAS to be right about everything that's how he is, and when I call him out on BS he get's pissed off.
