Can ipod touch buttons wear out with no protection from case?

    Probably..i'd highly recommend a case just incase you drop it etc..

    I don't think the buttons can wear out from your pocket. Plus, most cases don't even cover the buttons. I personally don't use a case cause I don't like to, but you could get one in case.

    depends what you put in your pocket. I have a case and the worst I get is dirt and crap on my screen

    I don't think that would happen unless you drop it a lot but I would suggest getting some sort of case for it, most cost about $30

    Well,
    I wouldn't really say the buttons could get wrecked as many of us have seen how strong the ipod screen itself is on many scratch tests on YouTube but i would recommend buying and using a case anyways as you never know what could happen with it and you could drop it. You can pick up a decent case for a reasonably cheap price at amazon nowadays too.

    I don't think it matters, just try not to drop it.
    Although I would get a case to protect the back of the ipod since it scratches so easily.
