long story short, i messed up my jailbroken ipod touch (by trying to edit strings). I decided to start over. i restored to the normal apple firmware, but i was wondering if i can rejailbreak and skip all the quick freedom stuff and just go right into itunes and restore with my custom firmware i made last time?
extra info.- 2nd gen ipod touch
    thanks
no big deal but it would be easier

I can't see why you wouldn't be able to. And, just in case it doesn't work, you can always restore to the original firmware and do the process all over again.
