I'm a TOTAL noob when it comes to developing, is there any way I can simulate my iPhone on the iPhone simulator that comes with the SDK?

    You can't.

The most you can do is use VNC to see your iPhone in your computer.

Being a total noob doesn't mean you can't google it...

your name contradicts you being a "TOTAL noob"... dont be a liar.

but no you cannot simulate any specific iPhone it is only for app developments.
Try Veency from Cydia if you want to view your iPhone on your computer

Yeah, I use Veency but I got the SDK w/ the simulator and thought it would be really nice for making iphone videos (since Veency is hopelessly slow)... Thanks though
