I just re-jailbroke, and tried to SSH 1.1.2 apps I had backed up into my 1.1.1 jailbroken touch. I opened one, and now it's frozen there. Any way I can force shut it down, restart, or re-spring? SSH is on.

Just hold down the home and sleep button on the ipod touch until it shuts off. Then start it again.

Also, you can open up the SSH terminal and type reboot or restart, i forgot which one.

Ah, thank you. I didn't want to do that because I remember the restore thing being some combination of home/sleep button, and I didn't want to have to re-jailbreak and sync.

It only ever does something like that if you have it plugged in, and you CONTINUE holding the home button even after it's booting up again.
