I was wondering if I could possibly trade my iPod touch 2g(mc) in for a new iPod touch 4g. The warranty ends around September 11th. Also it's engraved with my name.. if that matters. Could I like trade it in and get a discount off the 4g? And i bought it of the apple store

I'm fairly certain they don't accept returns

    A) just because you want a new iPod

    B) it has an engraving on it

    C) you could get a replacement, IF you actually were having issues with your iPod

Don't try to cheat the system. Maybe I would understand if you had just bought the iPod, but based on your warranty expiration date, you've had the iPod for almost a year.

Think about it. If that were possible everybody would be doing that every time Apple releases a new iPod then they would have to start paying employees with old iPods.

You can take the 2G at places where you wouldn't take the 4G... like at night time or the lake... or anywhere there's water for that matter.

Yeah but, it seems like a waste having 2 iPod touches and only using one of them
