I have an iPod Touch 3g jailbroken on 3.1.2 with my SHSH's saved on Cydia's server, and I've been trying to get to 4.0. I was following the tutorial I had until I got to the part where I had to install libusb. I have a 64 bit Windows installed, so I was having to go through extra steps to get it working. I got to the point where it was installing on my BOOT section, and it was telling me to change something if I multiboot (which I do, I have Windows installed via boot camp on my Mac). I got scared and backed out. So is there a way to do this without libusb, and if not, what should I do to get it installed?

I'm running 64bit Windows 7, so I had the same problem. I installed LibUSB (with ReadyDriver) and can confirm it works fine.

Apparently, the updated tools don't require LibUSB, but i haven't tested yet.
