Can I install apps without ANY wifi connection? -cydia-2.2.1

    I've jailbroken ipod [2.2.1] with cyw00d tool. But I have no wifi connection. I have itunnel, winscp, but no ssh.. Is it possible to install apps by iphonebrowser/ totalcommander or any other program? Any solutions?

    no you need to change permissions, which you need ssh for.

    Go to a Starbucks, or a Williams Coffee pub and get free wifi, then download SSH, iCommander, and whatever else u want. Then at home you can change app permissions with iCommander

    try copying MobileTerminal.app over itunnel and see if you can get it to work

    if that works, you can put .deb files from cydia repos on the device and install them with the mobileterminal command

    apt-get install packagename.deb
