Ive been looking all over for a simple answer to this. Long story short I messed up my cydia installation from my restore. I still have all of the apps installed, most importantly, OpenSSH.

I have tried to ssh in with terminal and use the command apt-get install cydia but that is not working. Is there anyway to manually install cydia with SSH or USB?

    Thanks

    Why not just redo redsn0w?

    You should just re-jailbreak it.
Trust me, it's worth it. Re-installing everything doesn't take that long anyways.

I don't think you would have to reinstall everything if you ran redsn0w again. It doesn't require a restore, so all your content should be fine.

I have been able to get cydia back by manually sshing the deb file in and executing the install command in mobile terminal. now apt get is working to remove and install but i keep runing into the same error no matter how far i get back to functioning:

"E: Internal Error, Could not perform immediate configuration (2) on cydia"

I have found fixes for (1) which usually is caused by putting icy and cydia on together at initial jailbreak. nothing on (2) except for non-iphone issues in Debian forums.

if anyone has any idea what to do here, please let me know. All my apps still work so I am not that hard up for a restore, just want to get cydia back.
