I ask this question because i tried to use Setting > Reset all settings before, then my jailbroken ipod touch 2g couldnt get into springboard normally, it stucked in safe mode repeatly, after that i restored it...., and now because of my Touch 2G battery indicator is inaccurate, so i follow this instructions http://www.io101.org/blog/2009/04/15/how-to-calibrate-battery-indicator-on-iphone-3g/
to do a Re-calibration of the battery indicator, but Step 1 tells me i need to hard reset my ipod, i am afraid it going to happen again (stuck in safe mode), any help?

sorry for my bad english, i hope u can understand that

Yes, if you used blackra1n to jailbreak, go ahead and reset your iPod. If you get the recovery screen (USB cord + iTunes logo) just plug your iPod in and run blackra1n again.
