Can I fix light leaks self?

    Can I fix the light leaks self today I was going to get mine new one it still has some light leaks is there a way to do fix it myself.

    glue... ducktape...??? on a $220+ device??? who would do that?

    glue will do nothing. all it will do is create a mess and ruin the iPod.
    ducktape..? i dont even know what you would do with that. Ruin the look of your iPod maybe is all it would do.

    you really cannot fix light leaks by yourself.
    the most you could do is buy a case that covers up the bezel.

    do not use glue. do not use ducktape.

    Tiny, tiny amounts of black silicone or liquid electrical tape are known to work.

    he should have posted something relevant instead of posting anything to get his post count up.

    Thank you, I finally found someone who agrees with me...

    Back on topic, I've heard black silicone, but not duct tape (any amount). You really can't get duct tape to that small of an amount... But black silicone can.
