    Hi,
I have restored my iPod 1G, but then it all messed up, and i had to plug it out of the computer its synced with (let's call it A) because iTunes couldn't identify it (error 0xE8000001 i think) and plug in in another computer (B) where it worked and now, it is still on the other computer (B).

Now, it asks me wether i want to configure as new iPod ("Configurer comme nouvel iPod", cause my iTunes is in french) or if i want to restore it from a previous back-up ("Restaurer à partir de la sauvegarde de"), but the problem is that i'd want to restore it from the computer A, but then, i was wondering if i could plug it out from B and replug it again on A, in order to restore it from a back-up (it was synced with A)...I am afraid of making it messes up again.

    Can someone help me please?
    Thanks!

Edit : If it helps (i dont think it will but anyway, im running the newest firmware (2.2.1).

Salut Julien, tu as deja essayé de réinstallé ton iTunes? Peut-etre ça aidera.
Je ne suis pas encore tres "professionel" avec les iPod
+ je ne comprends pas vraiment le probleme et ton anglais es tres bien!

I wrote this post in french because Julien is french, which makes it easier for him
