Can Apple..

    Can Apple ever find out if you've jailbroken your ipod touch.. im worried as i have my itunes account linked up with the itunes wifi music store on my touch and of course, my account contains my address, telephone number etc..

    No, anyway they can't do anything about it anyway really because you bought the iPod, so its up to you what you do with it.

    most likely no, but if itunes has a pop-up saying your ipod has useful information that should be sent to apple, don't do it!

    If you do a fresh restore and bring it to them they will nevr find out.

    They can find out if you have cracked apps by you sending them a form that itunes asks you to send (it is optional)

    If apple finds out any other way then I think it is illegal?

    It's unlawful for them to do this. This is an extreme violation of your privacy. The only thing they can do is block your jailbroken apps from running, if they really wanted to. They do this by using their black list that is hidden on the iPod/iPhone. But there is a block to this already out in BossPrefs.

    BIG NO. First off they really don't care what you do with your ipod after you buy it. Jail breaking doesn't actually do anything to the ipod which is preventing business for apple (unless you have 2.0 and up). They just use it as an excuse to void your warranty. And for that there is always Restore.

    Ive restored my ipod to a clean 2.0.2 from a previously Jailbroken 2.0.2. so does this mean I get my warrenty back?

    Yes, It only goes while its JB'd
