can apple know you jailbroke your device?

    my itouch was messed up with redsn0w 0.8 so i restored but my touch crashes like crazy so if its under a year and i say i want a new one can they see that i jailbroke it before?

    the only way they can see if you have jailbroken it is if they have to send it off
    but if you have fully restored it the guy in the shop will not be able to tell

    Yeah they wont be able to tell if you do a full restore, although, if you take it in all they will probz do is DFU restore, which you can do yourself

    yeah i would like to know this also, i updated to 3.0 then jailbroke it... since then the wifi stopped working, i did a restore and it didnt fix, i downgraded to 2.2.1 and it still wont work. So if i return it now will they replace it? or know that i have been messing around with it and wont help me at all?

    just bring it back after doing a full restore, unjailbroken. go when the last guy you went to isnt working and give it to someone else. If youve done a full restore they wont be able to tell it was jailbroken.
