For a business project I have to explain to my teaching assistant the techinical feasibility of an iPhone application. We want to provide things like maps, contact info, access to novell email, and many different information services for students.

I have absolutely no background in developing and the question keeps being raised on how we know its possible to provide these services. And while i am almost 100% they can be integrated into an application I have absolutely no idea how to go about proving it. Especially in a way people with business backgrounds will understand. Anyone have any suggestions?

Um... pay someone to write one, and then show them?

The things you said are VERY easy APIs to implement. You could print off the apple documentation for the API's. It would not take long at all for an experienced coder to get this to work.
