    Hey All,

I just sat down at my desk and went to wake my ipod touch from sleep while it was in the speaker dock and I got a tiny shock when I touched the ipod itself. It got me thinking, could something like that damage the ipod? Would you see adverse effects immediately? What, if any effects would I see?

Sorry for the mundane question but I am just curious.

    Thanks,
    CS

only if you actually touched an internal component, or possibly the headphone jack, would have to be a pretty big static charge to kill a headphone jack though
