My ipod touch hasn't been able to connect to my home wireless router for a week now. It shows me which wifi routers is accessible but when i tap it, it says unable to connect.

I think the last thing thing I did before it stopped connecting the next day was updating apps (all well known apps) on Cydia (including some essential packages). could some cydia apps have a bug or somehow cause wifi to stop working? thanks for any support

What did you last install besides the update?

Can you try accessing another network to make sure it's not a router issue, or rebooted tge iPod? None of tge package updates touch essential system files for the iPod itself... except the springboard.

hmm i think it might be a router issue, because I can connect fine to other networks. but it's still weird because i didn't do anything to my router and have been able to connect to it for years; now i suddenly cannot

Maybe try resetting your network settings on you iPod and/or on your router.

I am having a similar problem. But mine started immediately after jailbreaking with redsnow, wifi was great one minute and now it ihas been gone ever since I jailbroke. I reset everything even restored the ipod nothing has worked. I was wondering if you got your fixed?
