Like, can I find my iPod in the "Removeable Disks" section while it's in recovery mode. I need to restore my iPod in order to jailbreak it, but I don't want to lose all the songs that I have in it. Is there any way that I can get into my iPod, extract all the music from it and put it into my computer, recover the iPod, jailbreak it, and then just put all the music back?

Thanks to anyone who helps. ^^

Just exit recovery mode, and then use something like diskaid.

One problem. I just can't exit recovery mode. I HAVE to recover it in order to exit it.

I'm pretty sure ziPhone has a feature to exit restore mode. It used to a few months ago anyway

I'm here to save u all lol. Go and find dl link for quickpwn 2.2 (it works for all firmwares 2.2 and above, don't panic)and then follow the instructions it gives you (just do it don't saying "that's not my problem" just do it)

Yeah ? You think it works on 3.0 and 3.1.2 too ?

I saved a PM from 4 months ago just in case something like this ever happened to me.

Let me know if it works out for you because if someone were to put my iPod in recovery mode (home & power button for a few seconds) I would so kick their ass. Restoring is a b*tch.
