    Hello to all.

I am as you can see) new to this forum.
Also new to the iPodTouch, i just got it today.
And i experience the first problem:
-i can´t access the letters S E Z from the virtual keyboard (anymore).
-at first it was working, later, after some hours it happened.

Has anyone some ideas what goes wrong?
Also i get sometimes poor response from the screen, things are really slow.
    iPodTouch came with FW 1.01
    I upgraded to FW 1.1.1.

-make sure that the screen is clear and wet
-try to restart you ipod by holding the home and sleep/wake button
-try to restore and update to new firmware again

    Thanks for reply and help.
    Still not working.
In rotated mode as you described it seems to work !!!
As i wrote before, iPod was restored several times to 1.1.1.
Even deleted the FW from within iTunes to force a reload of it.
    No working solution till now.

    Me too!

I have exactly the same problem with my iPod, have only had it for 4 days. Restarting used to fix it temporarily, now it seems completely dead in the same area as the first poster described - around the keyboard letters E, S, Z. Very frustrated after all the hours I've put into this thing already! I have a 1B738 (16gb). Pixels are fine colour wise, just dead to the touch. When I draw over the screen in sketch it shows up a flaw that seems to run vertically down the entire screen.
Also had sporadic problems all over the screen, sometimes couldn't slide to turn off, also probs trying to hit any button in the top left corner. Anyone else got this problem?? Can't be just two random occurrences...
