http://www.macrumors.com/2008/08/22/new-ipod-nano-ipod-touch-itunes-8-0-blu-ray-in-10-6/ Here's what I think is going to go down: 1. Revamp of Entire iPod Line: . iPod Classic becomes thinner, has a revamped Click Wheel. . iPod Nano Becomes the way Kevin predicted (See Link) . iPod Shuffle becomes cheaper, gets more flash memory, and will come in a variety of designs. . MPG/MPEG Video Support for newer iPods. 2. Small, Cosmetic Changes to the iPod Touch: . The Touch gets the same casing as the iPhone 3G. . The Touch becomes available in a variety of colors. . The Touch gets a better battery. . The Touch gets a brighter LCD Screen. 3. iPods to see Fairly Large Price Drops: . iPod Shuffle starting from $49.99 . iPod Nano starting from $79.99 . iPod Classic starting from $99.99 . iPod Touch starting from $129.99 4. iPod Touch/iPhone 2.1 Software: . Custom EQ Settings (Adjust the bass, treble, etc. And name your own setting) . Revamped Safari App, with Flash, Java, Copy/Paste, and a new GUI. . IM App available without the App Store. Includes AIM, YIM, MSN, ICQ. . Wi-Fi Toggle on the top status bar. . Movies/TV Shows available on the Mobile iTunes App. . News App available without the App Store. 5. iTunes 8.0 Update: . iTunes User Pages, similar to Last.FM, but without all the Emos. . Revamped GUI . Optional Subscription Services. 6. Other: . Something GarageBand related. I think either Integration with iPods, or a Windows Version.
