Camera Not Working

    Camera Not Working....
    the camera on my iphone 3g Jailbroken OS 3.1.3 wont save the photo.

    like i can see what i want to take a picture of but it wont save the picture then i click take the shutter closes and the freezes. iv tried other camera applications and its the same thing.

    Dropped your iPhone at all? Might be physical damage. Try a dfu restore if u haven't yet ( not guaranteed)

    Havnt dropped it at all the camera works I can see the forground desplayed on the sceen but one you click take photo button then it won't save picture just stays frozen on the shutter screen shut

    Yea i would go with a restore, shift+restore to 3.1.2 ipsw if you want to stay on 3.1.2 since you got a 3G

    I'd update to 3.1.3 and wait for the next jailbreak fix, but it's your choice.

    well he's on 3.1.3 and JBken
    so well it's a permissions problem:
    ssh into your iphone or download MobileTerminal in cydia and type:
    (one command epr line, finished with return key)
    su root
    alpine [or your pass for root user]
    chmod -R 777 /var/mobile/Media/DCIM/

    after that it should save pictures

    chmod -R 777 /var/mobile/Media/
