i searched and couldn't find what i was looking for. is there a way to get a premade calendar onto my ipod touch?

what i'm looking for is a file i can download and ssh into my ipod that will have such holidays as MLK Day and Mothers Day etc. or do i simply have to do all this manually?

You can subscribe to a calendar in iCal if you have a mac. Go to apple's site, downloads section, go to calendars and find the US Holidays one and subscribe. Syncs to iCal, than syncs to your touch

thanks for your help, i do not have ical or a mac but i can do what you said by using sunbird from mozilla which supposedly can open ical files according to my research, so i guess i'll download the calendar and see if it will open, thanks once again

i'd still love to see a file in the installer that does this for you

EDIT: sunbird won't sync with itunes
