    I don't see what they can offer with a TV that they couldn't with just the box.

    I really hope they don't do it. It'll still somehow manage to be "revolutionary". "The thinnest TV ever!".

    I'm very interested to see how they do this, it could be revolutionary, if it uses the frameworks of iOS to let developers create their own channels. You now have the potential of independent stations able to have their own programing and network that goes directly to the TV. You now can have the pressure on networks to offer competitive ala cart stations, for people that don't want to buy expensive cable packages. THIS is what networks fear more than anything. This could be revolutionary if done right. There is even the possibility of having your channel data and merged with your other devices and apps as well too. Could be interesting.
