After all the anticipation I had for openiboot to be released on the ipod touch 2g, I finally gave up. I literally waited a year for progress, but no progress is made. Not even a terminal linux runs. Goodbye. Officially selling on craigslist and getting ipod touch 4g. Welocme android, goodbye you useless piece of dog feces.

    Good for you?

    1. It's a 2G, the 4G's are already starting to get old. Of course you got tired of it.
    2. It's not the 2G's fault.

Hate to be the guy to say his opinion, but i found that installing android on an apple product isnt that great. Its a pretty slow process and it doesnt run the thaaat nice, also stuff like camera and a few other apps dont even work

    The openiboot console works.
    We're almost there.
Even the bootmenu (GUI) is there, but it doens't start anything.
    But it will come some.

It'll take even longer for this to work with the iPod Touch 4. So keep the 2g.

Yes you know giving up is a good idea, because coding OpeniBoot is just as easy as making a text file that says, "Hi."

    /sarcasm.

    Patience is a virtue.

Android is not a good OS on the apple products. I had it on my 3G iPhone. I got the iPhone JUST for Android and was very disappointed. I was once like the OP.
