My parents don't like me goin online too much my ipodtouch..some how my dad can check how much the Internet is used by this device.

Is there any way to change something on the device so it wouldn't detect it when i don'. Want it to?

I got ifile and I'm looking around in the appl network and wifi section but don't know what to change.

I'm an super iPod fan but if I can't bypass this, my ipottouch without wi fi is pretty much useless

Well on a home network, provided he knows say, 4 things are on your network, including your iPod.

If you were to change settings on the iPod, you'd see three things that are normally connected and one that's completely new. That would kind of be a dead giveaway in my book.

There's plenty to do on a touch that isn't wifi...games, music, etc

You can see how much data is sent through a router to specific devices? Well I guess your parents are smarter than me. I guess I learn something new every day

Create an Ad-hoc network through the computer. Your parents will think it's the computer. And not the iPod.

And the extra wifi network floating around might be noticed by the apparently technologically intelligent father.

    Make the ad-hoc network hidden.
