    2G iPod touch
I'm looking at buying an iPhone. I can get a 3g one for $719 and a 16gb 3Gs for $879 off the Australia apple site. I already have an ipod touch 2g and want to know if it would be better to keep the ipod and buy a cheap phone or sell the ipod and buy a iphone.

They are expensive and haven't had one, so i want to know if they're worth the big price tag. I was thinking of selling my 16gb ipod touch 2g for $200-250 and use that money for an iphone. But a lot of cheaper phones have phone stuff a lot like the iphone and i have the ipod touch for apps and stuff.

i got my iphone for 380, third-party new. a 32gig touch 3g would have been around 330 w/tax. i would say that its not worth it at $719

yeah, 719 is waay too overpriced. for an 8GB 3G, 9+/10 condition, i wouldn't pay anything more than 400. for a 3GS, you'd be lucky to find one for ~600.
