    Copied and pasted from Head-Fi

By the way, you do this when you first unbox them.
Here is the pink noise file in which you can burn in your headphones with: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/726900/Music/Pink Noise.wav
Or altenatively for Mac users: Noisy.app

Does anyone have a recommended Burn-in time for some JVC Air-Cushions? And chung, just so my mind can be at peace, what's your preferred method of burn-in?

Don't get skull candies. Period. Ask chung for another option.

Thank you for this guide chung. I actually explained the concept to my friend today and he seemed fairly enlightened.

Let me say that this isn't just for headphones, burn in (if you believe in it) is also valuable for speakers and amplifiers.
