I have a 2nd gen Itouch that I'm only able to hear music using my headphones but I though they also come with a built in speaker.

Is there a setting I need to change to switch from Headphone to speakers?

Please explain how to use both: speakers and headphones. So far I havent found it in the settings section or music or did I miss it?

    Thanks

That would be fine. I can;t use the speaker option. How do I set that to speaker only if I wanted to?

Are you sure it's a second gen? Does it have volume controls on it's side?

If it does then make sure you take out the headphones and turn it up all the way, the volume for the speakers is separate from the headphones.

If that doesn't work, I'd try maybe a restore AND if that fails you might have to send it back to Apple.
