As I am getting the BT Infinity upgrade for free, I am also getting a new Home Hub, they have asked if there is a mac in the household, could this be for *******s?

This is a bit off topic though do you ask BT for the infinity upgrade or did they come to you ?

I believe you need an adapter for a Mac

Well, coincidentally ShizerMonkey this is the offtopic forum, and have you got a link to the adaptor at all, as I will be using it wirelessly, if that is what you mean?

On the BT site, one of the plans say a Mac adapter is included. They were probably just wondering so they can try to sell you the Mac adapter on the other plan.

If they were going to throttle your *******s however, it wouldn't matter what computer you were using. Although, I'm on BT Broadband and they are yet to throttle my *******s unlike my previous ISP.

Alright, it was a free upgrade, and my dad was on the phone to them and asked if there was a mac in the household, and there have been downloads on my mac I know I shouldn't, just wondering as I'm not in when the BT engineer is over, and I'm quite protective of my mac aha!

I honestly don't think they'll care. I mean if you hide the stuff you don't want the egineer to see then you should be fine.
