BSD root md0 major 2 minor 0 help!

    hi i know that somebody will say that its an old probem but believe me i already check everything i can do i have the problem and i cant turn it off even holding the sleep button for more that 2 mins, and so i can turn it off i have to let the batteries die so i can turn it off, and when i try the home and sleep button at the same time it doesnt make anything i keep pressing the buttons for more than 2 mins and nothing happen hope you can help me greets

    You're right it is an old problem. There is no "fix" just restore and keep on trying. Sometimes ZiPhone doesn't work with 16GB+ iPod touch's. Upgrade to firmware 2.1 and use WinPwn, Pwnage, or QuickPwn to jailbreak it.

    damm XD hehehe and how do i use those programs? well itts a first generation itouch 8 gb xD and my cousin tried to hack it anyway i will try to find something thanks for your help

    That is very wrong! It's easy to get out of the BSD loop and right back into Normal Mode like nothing happened. Use version 2.6b if you must remain on 1.1.x firmware.

    the problem is that i dont know what im doing wrong im pressing the home and sleep buttons at same time but nothing happens i let the buttons pressing for more than a minute and doest trn off or makes anything

    Hello All,

    I have the same problem already 4-5 months now.
    No way to put in recovery modus.
    I have the Ipod touch 8gb.
    I will very hapy to use again my Ipod after this long time.

    haha this happened to my first one, and i made apple replace it.
    it was all scratched up anyway.
    just tell them it happened while u were updating.

    now i'm using my fourth one.
