So I tried to jailbreak my Touch with the new iLiberty.

Got the BSD Root error and got my Touch in recovery mode.

Tried to restore to 2 different firmwares

    iPhone1,1_1.1.4_4A102_Restore.ipsw
    I got a "Could not restore (2001)"

    iPod1,1_1.1.3_4A93_Restore.ipsw
    I got a "Could not restore (5)"

Searched all the threads I could and all the YouTube videos but nothing.

    any help?

i suggest you try only ipod touch ipsw files rather than iphone because youll just continually get an error.

Use Ziphone 2.6b, run the NVRAM Fix and then jailbreak. No BSD issues!
