    1. Put your iphone in the dock, with the USB cable disconnected from your computer.

    2. Make sure the phone is off (The only way I got the phone to turn off is to hold the power button + the home button for like 15 seconds)

    3. Once you know the phone is off, press and hold the HOME button then plug in the USB cable to your computer, keep holding the HOME button the whole time.

    4. Next it should put a Yellow Triangle on your iphone and it should say "connect to itunes".

    5. Now restore your phone, and you should be GOOD TO GO!

    HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!

This isnt a fix, this is just a way to restore. A fix would be a way to jailbreak

Exactly the point I just made to someone else.
Stop making b.s. headlines people. A fix actually fixes the problem (jailbreaking using ziphone for 16gb owners), and having it work. This is just what alot of us already know which is how to restore.

you have to do this before running ziphone,
    maybe that solves it

    Try this..

iv'e been getting that same BSD error for 2 days now.. what i did is this..

IMPORTANT:re-download a fresh batch of ziphone.zip on touch hax website..

download iTunes 7.5 if you already have it, good..
after restoring 1.1.3 and turning it off, turn it back on (NOT in DFU mode), just turn it back on, open itunes then turn the ipod touch off again.. close itunes

this time go into DFU by holding home and power, when your in DFU mode, open itunes..
eject the ipod using the eject on itunes.. close itunes..

turn itunes on again then eject ipod again..

now use the ziphone gui then when it gets to the part where the BSD error would appear, i pressed the home button once.. And now im updated no errors!

    just now...

PS. so basically what i did different was to close and open the ipod an extra time and eject a couple of times too before using the ziphone gui.. and while using the ziphonegui pressed the home button before the BSD error appeared..

i know its a lot to try.. but just keep at it..

    hope this helps!

BTW.. let me know if it works for you
