broken wires

    Ipod I was using fell on the floor and the three brown wiring supposedly attached to each other vertically was sort of disbanded. Is there still hope for this to be remedied? I believe that the guarantee is already expired but we would like to have this restored due to the music stored... Thank you.

    Could you be anymore specific?

    1. What cables? Headphones, external speakers, or what?
    2. Is this an iPod touch or another iPod model?

    just try plugging into the computer... see if it is recognized.
    if not, try sshing and retrieving the music files that way.

    try replacing wires.

    try soldering wires,
    or if you go to high school, ask the electric teacher!

    ALL iPod touches are still under warranty, as they have not been out for over 1 year, and it comes with a one-year warranty from Apple.
