I was trying to re-jailbreak my iPod touch with ziphone as the current jailbreak wasn't working properly and a friend said that I should just jailbreak it again. It started fine, but stalled towards the end and is now stuck on a black screen with white writing saying:

Slingleuser boot -- fsck not done
    Root device is mounted read-only

If you want to make modifications to files:
    /sbin/fsck -fy
    /sbin/mount -uw /

if you wish to boot the system:
    exit

    dyld: Library not loaded: libarmfp.dylib
    Referenced from: /bin/sh
    Reason: image not found

I know you probably didnt need all that but I'm not sure what to do lol.

The screen is also flashing as in the text flashes on and off, but very quickly so you can barely tell.

The iPod isnt recognised by iTunes or the PC and won't be forced into restore mode although I have tried several ways.

    Please help!!!

thats a bricked ipod you got there. search around the forums and look for a fix.

    is the computer detecting it?
try putting it in DFU mode and restore

Well for one it isn't bricked. And secondly all you have to do is put it into DFU mode with ziphone then restore. Then jailbreak again. Make sure you are using the latest ziphone as well.

Yeah it's happened to me to, except it was while I was jailbreaking a friend's iPod, trust me I was scared to sh*t. What you have to do is force it into the please connect to iTunes screen my holing the power and home buttons until the screen turns black, then once it turns black, let go of the power button while continuing to hold the home button, the please connect to iTunes screen will then pop up so... connect it to iTunes, then do a completely fresh restore and try iLiberty+(or use a TIFF exploit eg. jailbreakme.com), ZiPhone will never work on that iPod again.

His ipod is not bricked. If you have a bricked ipod you can't turn it on, or do anything with it, its useless.
