I was replacing the lcd screen from my ipod touch 2nd gen and following a you tube video. when i first took off the front glass/digitizer the LCD still lite up and the ipod still powered on and i could see the lights inside it. So then i took off the LCD and i went to connect the new one. now when i connect it to power or try to turn it on it wont or connect it to itunes it doesn't even light up. What did i do wrong? i haven't finished assembling it yet but i think i must have done something wrong because now it wont light up at all. everything looks fine on the inside and the battery looks fine and is still connected and i didnt mess anything up that i know of.
    Can anyone help me please?

the only other thing that i can think to do to check if the iPod works (for now) is put a screen in (maybe without one first) and plug it in to the computer and see if it turns on or is recognized.
