    must be something that your doing wrong, i sucessfully jailbroke my ipod without any trouble, just followed the instructions from redsn0w and my ipod never crashes

    1st gen 16gb 3.0 jb

    It can't brick. And even if it could, it could only do it once

    By 'brick' I assume you mean crash. My 3.0 has only crashed once.
    I think this thread needs closure.

    yes crash and you need to restore it. its happend to me 4times and sorry my english is fine my keyboard is not

    iPod touches CAN'T brick(I am sick of seeing that term here), unless you were to put a brick on top your iPod.
