Ok so I upgraded my iPod to 2.0.1, and saw it was practically the same as 2.0. I wanted to go back to jailbroken 2.0. So I downgraded iTunes to version 7.5 and restored to 1.1.4. I was pwning my iPod, and when it was done the NOR flashing, and supposed to reboot, it just shut off instead of rebooting. I tried turning it back on using various combinations of holding down the 2 buttons, to no avail. There is no recognition from my computer, or my dad's.

It's bricked. Unless one of you has some AMAZING solution.

Actually, you can totally brick an iPhone, but not an iPod.

It's not bricked, just use any 1.1.4 jailbreak utility to put it in DFU.

I tried DFU mode, to no avail.

I have tried that for the past hour.

The iPod was fully charged when this happened.

Keep trying to enter DFU mode.
Nothing you do the the SL5900 will cause it to act up.

You can't brick an iPod touch.
The only thing in either device (iPhone or iPod) that you can brick is the baseband.

    Keep fiddling

Try plugging into a different computer

Pressing random buttons at random times

Its not bricked, from what you described this happened to me and im fine

Hold both buttons and let go of sleep after 8-10 seconds and hold home for 10-20 secs
