after jailbreaking to 3.0 on a ipod touch 2g....

    everything was going fine....

then i went to install sbsettings then it was frozen loading....then my itouch turned off and now when i turn it on the backlight is on but nothing is happening...

i cant turn it off while connected to the computer or it will just show the apple logo and just show the backlight again

it isnt bricked since you can see the logo, or the screen lighting up.

    Surely your timing is wrong.

no like i cant go to dfu mode..... its a endless cycle of my itouch going to a blank screen....

whenever i turn it off...it turns back on 2 seconds later...which gives u no time at all to dfu it

Try doing it with the method in my signature. If that doesn't work try holding home while plugging it in.

with your ipod plugged in, hold home and power for 7 seconds, then home for 7
