Follow the first link in my Signature. Stop after Step 5.

Then use ZiPhone (get it from www.ziphone.org) to put it back in NORMAL MODE. This is located in the Advanced Features slider in Windows. In OS X its in the "Mode" drop Down menu.

ALSO, To Jailbreak, use ZiPhone 2.6b. Click the CLEAR/FIX NVRAM button (Again, in Windows its under the Advanced Features. OS X, its in the "File" drop down menu).

After you Clear/Fix the NVRAM, Click "iPod Touch". Which is near Jailbreak.

He used a Modified ZiPhone 1.0 from "touchable.de"

That method is an Ancient Relic, I'm surprised people still use it.

ZiPhone 2.6b for Windows and Mac OS X is the way to Go.

what you need to do is like what others said, download ziphone 2.6b and i noticed you got the root error, what u need to do is hold down power and home key for about 10 seconds and the power will turn off but do not let go any of the buttons just keep on pressing them down, then you will be in the recovery mode.

You will get no Error if you use the CLEAR/FIX NVRAM thing I mentioned earlier FIRST before you Jailbreak.
