I know this has been asked a million times but I've been browsing these forum pages for days now and can't find a right solution to my problem.

After installing 1.1.3 features for 1.1.2 through Installer, it crashed and went to the default screen (like when you first bought it, the connect-to-itunes screen with the itunes logo and the dock connector).

Of course I have tried connecting to itunes but it won't recognize my ipod.
I've tried on both itunes 7.6 and 7.5.
I've also tried SSHing into my ipod but of course there's no wifi connection when it's off.

    Sorry for my bad english.

    Help me ?

try holding down both the buttons until it turns off, then connect? or put it in restore mode. if it aint already...if not send it back.

oh and just found this, try the diagnostics test in itunes; help > diagnostics

I think I may have tried everything suggested here on the forums. Everything.

The diagnostics test just says the connection isn't good between the ipod and the computer.. hm.

No, sorry, I should change my opening post.
I was on 1.1.2 and tried to install the 1.1.3 features for 1.1.2. (Wiggles + Apps)
    Then this happened.
It's not that my computer doesn't recognize my ipod. It's that NOTHING seems to work in trying to reset it.

well its 1.1.3, things can muck up in the istallation and if you didnt follow the guide well then that might happen. But everyone seems to get different errors with 1.1.3 suggesting everyone has slightly different ipods, i guess you are an unfortunate one. I dont know what to suggest now, seeing as you've installe 3rd party stuff you can send it back.
