hi, so I have a BIG problem:

I tried to jailbreak my iPod touch 8GB with WinPwn 1.0 on my Windows - PC. Everything went correctly, but after the iPwner my iPod is dead. I tried nearly everything. Put it in to DFU Mode with Ziphone, iliberty+ and itunes, restore it, put it in recoverymode, changed the USB ports, rebooted the PC ....

nothing, .. I asked someone from a repair - service. He said the mainboard is f***ed up. -.-
it will cost 170€ .. wtf >_> i don't know, if i can believe him

is it possible that the mainboard breaks down after jailbreaking ???

there's only one option I haven't done yet .. but I don't believe it's gonna help (restore from another PC), I try this tomorrow, wish me good luck

iPod has costed 230€ + 170€ would be 400€ for a iPod touch 8GB, omfg I am pissed off

    edit: firmware: 1.1.4

You completely bricked it. Send it to Apple. Go here to learn how to approach the apple 'genius'.

ok and what should I say?

"I tried to jailbreak my iPod. "

    or

"Suddenly my iPod stopped working for no reason."

    or what?

say you had a problem (think carefully) so you tried to restore it, but you tripped over the wire. So it stopped responding. You tried to......
WAIT... DOES IT RECOGNIZE YOUR IPOD WHEN YOU PLUG IT IN???? DOES IT SAY ANYTHING? DOES IT SAY IT'S AN IPHONE IN RECOVERY MODE???
