    Good morning everyone,

Just an FYI that I too had "bricked" my Ipod Touch. The screen wouldn't light up, no indication of life of any sorts.

I followed some dude's recommendations of holding the power and home buttons.
After several tries...itunes miraculously saw the ipod...from there i did a restore.

So, here's the step by step.

    1. Plug ipod to computer.
    2. hold the power and home buttons...for like, 10 secs...
    3. let go of power and remove cable and plug back in...

I tried a dozen times...then it worked. So there is hope. That's all.

    j.

he said you have to unplug and re plug, and to not give up if u try and it doesnt work, cuz if sm1 tries that 3 times, and it doesnt work, they might give up, now maybe they'll keep trying, i think its a good post
