On the newer iPod models, Apple has a bunch of charging restrictions, like what your iDevice will and will not take a charge from. Is there any way to remove those restrictions?

On some devices, I actually get a warning sign and text saying "iPod won't charge from this device"

OR,remove the com.apple.powerlog.plist daemon. That works too.

By removing the daemon, it'll treat any charger the same: show the battery at the lock screen and it'll charge the device. Do note: Apple made that daemon because people complained that when using 3rd party chargers, they did damage their battery due to unclean power. There is a risk, but I'm willing to bet the 3rd parties have made adjustments to be safer. It's your choice, I haven't noticed any battery performance difference.
