I just bought a Ipod Touch 2nd generation today and have spent the last 4 hours trying to figure out how to Jailbreak it, though I seem to have no luck. I have not even turned it on till I started this thread. It is asking me to connect to Itune's. Any advice on what I should do first. (I bought the Touch for apps and not music. I want to make it a wifi phone for school and work)

Use newest iTunes and update your iPod to the newest firmware (2.2.1)
