i would also like a picture of at least the new battery icon. and maybe a screenshot of the new charge level itunes thing. (i heard that itunes now shows you the charge level in itunes itself when you have your ipod plugged in)

It means 1.1.2 wipes out all your hacks. Hence, makes it faster. LOL

I've updated to 1.1.2 out of curiousity. I can attest to its features. The new battery icon is great. I honestly miss it now. No, it's not necessary, but that doensn't mean that it isn't awesome.

As far as speed goes, I hardly noticed a thing after upgrading. I was honestly a little disappointed. However, after downgrading back down to 1.1.1, the thing seems like a slug. So yeah, the speed is noticible.

Remember, for OctoPrep to wark, you must wait for the upgrade file to arrive in iTunes. The firmware you already (may have) downloaded will wipe your iPod.

I know that I can't wait until the 1.1.2 hits iTunes. I will literally be hitting my "Check for Updates every few minutes until it shows up.
