    Usually a mix... but I do prefer Rap/Hip-Hop.

    I truly believe that these were tuned specifically for rock and alternative. They fit so well together. Tridents will work for other genres too like hip hop and rap. The only thing they probably wouldn't be able to do too well is classical which I can see the Dunus working well for.

    There are plenty. For rap and hip hop, I think the M4s are a better fit though over the Tridents.

    Not better, but more quanity... There is slightly more bass impact and body which will help rap and hip hop genres much more. Tridents can do it as well, but M4s seem to be a better fit.

    Yeah, that makes sense.
    A little off-topic, but if I had more money to spend, what would be the best earphones for my needs? Should I still go with one of these?

    M4s would do perfectly fine for you.
