So I decided to buy the headphones from Monster Cables. Beats by Dr. Dre.

Now a lot of people have been telling me:

'oh, they're not worth the money'

'you could find better headphones for £280'

'there's so many other headphones out there for that price'

Well, obviously, I considered the price and what I was getting exactly for my money. And well, I agree with my friends and you guys that helped me on the forum. They're definitely not worth £280.

However, my sister has gone to America for a month and so I had a look on eBay.com I found a pair for $240. The shipping was free.

I think they are worth £155 ($240) and so therefore, I bought them.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks.

--When my sister gets back at the beginning of July, I will do a well detailed review because I couldn't find one on here--

hmm i would still say they are not worth it for the sound quality - but the overall headphone with the looks might get that balanced out

I know loads of people say 'its just because of the branding' or 'just because it looks good' but I seriously bought them for Music Producing in a proper studio not just for general listening. When composing I can tell you the Beats show CRYSTAL CLEAR UNCOMPRESSED music the way its meant to be listened too.

So you're saying the Beats are neutral enough for monitoring?

Beats sound like they have a lean towards listening enjoyment for people that love bass and not studio monitoring.
