    Hey people,

I've had an iPod touch first gen for about 2 years now and the headphone jack died and I got a new 3G (I think). I want to just take absolutely everything from old one and move it over. This includes jailbroken apps, themes, notes and music (not so much music, I can just put it on later). Cydia doesn't work properly tho so no apt backup.

Is there a way to do this? Refer me to a thread if this already exists some where.

    Thanks!!!

Hmm try this, not 100% sure it'll work though.

Download AptBackup from Cydia (on old iPod)
    BackUp your iPod
Now backup your iPod (Old) on iTunes.

restore your new iPod, but RESTORE FROM BACKUP using the old iPod's thing. So If it's Pete's iPod, then backup from that.

Then, iTunes will sync all your apps, and jailbreak your iPod and download Aptbackup from Cydia and press restore.

My cydia doesn't work. It says Loading Data and never goes anywhere.
